Spoon Trade – An American Eatry

tst_logoGrover Beach and fine dining are not typically mentioned in the same sentence – in fact in our history on the Central Coast those words have never been paired. We are happy to report that Grover’s culinary history has been upgraded with a new eatery. Owners Jacob and Brook Town, and Patrick Bergseid have made their mark with a fantastic new restaurant on the corner of 3rd  Street and Grand Avenue dubbed The Spoon Trade.

With a consistently changing menu based on what is fresh and available combined with such classics as Chicken and Waffles and killer Burgers, there is a little something for every palate. Their winter menu offers such interesting fare as roasted cauliflower soup, pan-seared scallops with pencil grits and Brussels sprouts.

In addition to the robust menu options, there are many craft beers available (draft and bottle) and a very creative wine list that predominately features our local producers.

We highly recommend that if you make a point of stopping by and tasting The Spoon Trade for yourself. They do not take reservations but it is well worth the wait!
