Bean’s Roofing & Rain Gutters

As we all know, home ownership means not always getting to spend money on the fun projects, but sometimes having to do upgrades and improvements that are practical. When it came time for our 1987 custom-built home to have a new roof, new skylights and remove the fluorescent lightboxes in favor of more modern recessed lighting we had difficulty finding a reliable resource for the first step – the roof. After many failed attempts to connect with a contractor that had our vision, and responded (so many do not) we finally found our match with Bean’s Roofing and Rain Gutters.

We received a referral to Bean’s and owner Eric Bean responded immediately to my call. He came out, understood that our aging torch-on and gravel-coated flat roof was not only outdated but was possibly beyond it’s healthy lifespan. He assessed what needed to be  removed and made great recommendations for a new product on the flat roof known as TPO or Thermoplastic Polyolefin — a smooth service with a complimentary color to the rest of the home. His crew would also reflash the skylights and prepare them for new ones to be ordered and installed by another contractor.

When all was said and done, the Bean’s crew arrived on time, with enough people to get the job done in a timely-fashion, and were efficient and tidy in their process. They took time to cover our patio area and cleaned up after themselves. The estimate came in better than I expected, the work was scheduled quickly and the job was completed on time and with high quality. There was even a substantial area of dry rot when the older roof was removed – and Bean’s addressed the problem immediately replacing sub-roofing material at an insignificant additional charge.

Timely, courteous, efficient and affordable – all reasons why we recommend Bean’s for your next roof or rain gutter job … and remember they are saying we will have rain this season! No time like the present!
