Fireworks at the Pismo Beach Pier

The Calm Before Storm 4th of July 2013 Pismo Beach

Annual 4th of July Fireworks Celebration in Pismo Beach was ruined by the weather: Low Coastal Fog obscured the entire 770 shell show.

People come from all over the country to experience our nation’s independence day on the 1200′ Pismo Beach Pier.

With nearly 100,000 people on the beach and in downtown Pismo, its a once in a life-time experience.

Many locals, who live in the hills over looking Pismo Beach have large “Deck” parties to watch the display of fireworks being fired off of the end of the Pier.

Festivities begin at 10 am and culminate with the Grand Display that begins at 9:00pm.

Food and fun continue on until 11pm in downtown Pismo Beach.
