On Monday, May 7, 2018, the Rotary Club of Pismo Beach-Five Cities Charitable Foundation will be hosting their 16th Annual Rotary Golf Classic at the beautiful San Luis Obispo Country Club. This is such a fun filled, day-long event that stretches into the evening.
Starting off at 11am with a shotgun, this full day event features a skills contest, brunch, photo souvenir, hosted cocktail hour, delicious prime rib & crusted halibut dinner and so much more.
Come join in on the fun. Cart around the course with friends for a healthy golf competition. Various businesses will be at sponsoring designated holes with refreshments and food to help keep you energized throughout the course. In past years we have seen tacos, bloody marys, margaritas, burgers, and much more served at the various tents. Be on the lookout for your favorite hosts and have a good time between each hole.
The grounds of San Luis Obispo Country Club are breathtakingly picturesque making the event even more enjoyable at this great outdoor event at the same time helping to raise money for a good cause. Our Philanthropic partnerships with the community have allowed the Rotary Club of Pismo Beach-Five Cities Charitable Foundation in San Luis Obispo County and elsewhere even globally. Funds raised from this event help with local scholarships, aiding with senior citizen programs, community events, beautification efforts, youth programs and city projects just to name a few.
When the golf tournament wraps up, we go into the club for a hosted cocktail hour and then are seated for a delicious dinner. During dinner we honor the winning golfers with awards as well as getting a chance to win fun raffle prizes donated to the winning ticket holders.
The cost is $200 per player which includes Driving Range, Golf, Lunch, hosted Cocktail hour, and a prime rib with halibut dinner. Teams are in a 4-Player Scramble Format. Contests include Woman’s Long Drive, Men’s Long Drive, Closest to the Pin and Skills Contest. There will be First Place, Second Place and Third Place Awards.
