Supporting Local Businesses – Get Your Pet’s Needs Met at Lemos!

More than ever, it is so important to support local businesses to help keep our community vibrant. That is especially true when access to everyday items has become more challenging. Let’s not forget about the locally owned companies that help us take care of our fur babies too. That’s why we shop at Lemos Pet and Feed Supply.

My husband and I used to purchase our pets’ supplies from a large chain store when we lived in the Los Angeles area. However, since moving to the Central Coast, we are so glad to have discovered Lemos Feed and Pet Supply. So much so, that we have been happy to support them for almost twenty years!

Mike Lemos started the business in 1972 and his adherence to traditional values is evident in every one of his stores along the Central Coast. We frequent the stores in Los Osos and Morro Bay and are greeted by friendly, helpful staff every time. They are very knowledgeable regarding all of the products in stock and offer great advice on pet care items including special foods, pet safety, and even most appropriate toys.

Every Lemos store offers curbside pickup to help during Covid precautions so everyone can feel safe and stay healthy. Customers can shop on the company’s website to determine everything available for their pet and, if you’re not a fan of technology, you can call an order in to their closest store. Staff will get everything ready and deliver it all right to your car.

It might seem convenient to order pet products via the web from large chains and e-retailers, but those online options can’t offer the full friendly service provided by all Lemos stores, and every visit is an additional step in helping keep our community strong.

Lemos has store locations in Arroyo Grande, Atascadero, Los Osos, Morro Bay, Nipomo, Paso Robles, and San Luis Obispo. I feel good that my pets can stay happy and I can feel good about every purchase I make helping keep my money local.
