Flour Sack Towels
Acrylic Paint
Paint brushes (or just fingers for the little ones)
Painter’s tape
Stamps/stencils (optional)
These flour sack towels can be found in most stores that have kitchen supplies and they typically cost around $1 a piece. Acrylic paint works best on these towels, but you’ll only want to paint a small portion of the towel because it will make that portion hard and unusable for drying purposes.
I love this craft because it’s so versatile. It can be used for any season and you can use so many tools, colors, styles, etc., making it unique as well as making sweet memories! I think the next one we’ll do will be for Grandparent’s Day by adding all of the grandkid’s handprints on one.
Happy Valentine’s Day!
