If you have littles, I highly recommend checking out theI highly recommend checking out the Exploration Discovery Center in Grover Beach, accommodating children from ages 2 to 12 years old. My daughter highly approves, her first visit was at the young age of 18 months old. She can spend hours there and never gets bored.
One of her favorite places to hit is the grocery store they have set up. The kitchen area, indoor sandbox, and water table outside she just loves. I personally like the arts and craft area chalked full of everything you could possibly need for any project your little one can dream up!
For the old kiddos, the Exploration and Discovery Center has some amazing science experiments, multicultural projects about history, artifacts, geography and more. They also have interactive exhibits where kids will enjoy physical activity, fun, and adventure, including treehouses, a water activity center, and life-sized Mesoamerican Pyramid!
They offer preschool play areas, archeology/geology education through play, rotating cultural and historical interactive exhibits, outdoor water play, aquaponic gardening, and a school-age learning lab.
This place is perfect for partners with multiple kids trying to find something for everyone to enjoy, young toddlers needing to get some energy out, birthday parties and more. It is always neat and clean. They have fantastic volunteers that are walking around helping all the kids with the different activities, cleaning and organizing.
