Tucked away in the Granada Hotel, Nightcap is the cutest speakeasy cocktail bar you’ll ever see. Walking in, you’re greeted by lush velvet, exposed brick, and a mirrored ceiling. Take a seat at the bar for a front-row view, or bring a few friends and feel like a VIP in the very private-feeling booths.
Thus transported into a 1920s speakeasy, take a look at the ever-evolving menu and try to narrow down all the fantastic options. They have everything from classic cocktails to more adventurous flavors. 6-7 pm every day is Martini Hour, when a classic martini is $9-12, depending on what you choose. Or find something on the menu with unique ingredients like beet-infused tequila, walnut oil, or everything bagel spice!
I had the Clover Club, featuring gin, lemon, and raspberry, topped with a frothy egg white. My fiance had the Black Velvet, complete with cacao-infused scotch, sweet vermouth, charcoal, vanilla, and smoked paprika. Both were delicious and the perfect start to a dinner date.
As we had dinner reservations elsewhere, we didn’t try any of Nightcap’s food options. But with a menu including things like Elote Shisito Peppers, Tuna Tataki, and Whipped Burrata Toast–all from the Bistro in the Granada–I’m confident it’s amazing.
Whether you’re starting or ending your night, Nightcap at the Granada Hotel is a great choice for a unique cocktail or a yummy snack.
