The 7th annual Central Coast Craft Beer Fest is March 21st, 2026! Head over to the beautiful Sunken Gardens in Atascadero for tastings from local breweries, wineries, and much more.
When you arrive at the festival–VIP ticketholders get in an hour early!–you’ll receive a souvenir glass and access to samples from more than 55 craft breweries, wineries, and cideries, as well as seltzers and kombucha! Live music sets the tone, including performances by The 90s Babiez, Dubwise, and DJ Manuel Barba from Traffic Records.
Between tastings, enjoy a variety of food trucks, vendors, and lawn games, including crowd-favorite mega sized beer pong! During the early admission, VIP guests receive samples of special craft beers that will only be poured that hour. If you’re looking to try everything, VIP may be the way to go!
The festival also offers discounted Designated Driver tickets! While these ticketholders are not allowed to try any of the alcohol, it’s a great choice for anyone who wants to enjoy the rest of the festival and make sure your friends get home safely. Otherwise, shuttles are available to and from select hotels for a fee, and shuttles to hotels in Atascadero are free! Several hotels are offering discounted rates that weekend, making a staycation even easier. Or, book a room at the Carlton to be only a block away from the Sunken Gardens!
As someone who went to middle school in Atascadero many moons ago, I must say that the recent improvements downtown were entirely worth it, so if you haven’t been in the last six months or so you have to check it out! It’s quite the glow up, and there are several new restaurants that are definitely worth visiting. And what better time than a festival?
