As a Realtor, finding a service provider who I trust to refer to clients is like striking gold. I hold them to a higher standard than even someone I would hire to work on my own home. You see, that service provider isn’t just representing their company when I refer them. They are also representing me and the service and care I provide my clients. This is why, when I found out my friend Chad Gordon was starting a construction company, I knew exactly who I was referring the next client to that wanted to remodel their home.
Chad and I met while I was in my previous career as a manager of The UPS Store. He worked for a company that specialized in disaster restoration and remodeling, but on the side he did some of the most beautiful custom woodwork I have seen. He would regularly come in to ship out furniture that he built from wine barrels. As a result, I was able to get to know the type of person Chad is and how he takes care of his clients. On occasion, UPS would damage a shipment of his furniture – something beyond Chad’s control – but he always made sure things were made right for his customer. He is a sincere person who enjoys what he does, which results in quality craftsmanship and a trust that he will do the right thing for his clients.
When I finally had the opportunity to refer Chad to some clients, it was due to a leaking toilet that had damaged some flooring and drywall. My clients were concerned about the moisture damage so we brought in Chad since he has experience working with moisture damage and mold remediation. He did a fantastic job and the same clients ultimately ended up hiring him to do a large remodel on their home. These clients had moved to Pismo from the Bay Area and purchased a gorgeous home in Pismo Heights with a fantastic ocean view. They loved the home but wanted to do some updates and changes to put their own touch on it. Chad went to work immediately. He connected them with a great designer that helped my clients figure out exactly what they wanted to do. Then the designer and Chad worked together to make it a reality. Chad ripped out and replaced carpet and laminate flooring, painted the interior floor to ceiling, remodeled the kitchen and had new railings put in for the stairway and upper living room area.
The result was an amazing remodel that not only made the house feel like home for my clients but also increased their home value. Now, every time I see these clients they thank me again for recommending Chad and tell me how amazing he and his team are. Gordon Construction is like a well-kept secret that our Team is choosing to share — Merry Christmas! I would not hesitate to recommend them again.
