Mark your calendars and make sure you come to this year’s Harvest Festival in the historic Village of Arroyo Grande. This year marks the 79th annual Arroyo Grande Harvest Festival with the theme of “Bridging Our Past to The Future”. This year’s Fall Fest will be held September 23rd and September 24th. It is the perfect example of small town America filled with people young and old, families and children, pets and fun! This action packed event has a full list of activities to suit everyone’s fancy! There are contests for homegrown veggies, fruit and flowers, homemade jams, jellies, pickles, fudge, apple pie, cookies, breads and more. There are also contests for coloring, Weiner dog races, Whiskerino contest for the longest, darkest, lightest and neatest facial hair, pie eating contest, scarecrow contest and the fun goes on and on. The fest kicks off on Friday evening with the 51st Annual Fish Fry from 4pm-7pm on Short St by the Gazebo.
There is so much fun to enjoy in this event. Live music to dance to, delectable foods from vendors & crafts to purchase. Visiting the Village of Arroyo Grande has a great feeling of nostalgia and history.
