Looking for a way to make a positive impact on the environment and celebrate our community? Join us on June 14 at the Octagon Barn for ECOSLO’s annual SLOstice fundraiser! An evening filled with music, dinner, drinks, and a silent auction, SLOstice is your chance to help ECOSLO keep our beautiful county clean and thriving.
ECOSLO (Environmental Center of San Luis Obispo) started in 1969 after four separate pollution events occurred in San Luis Obispo Creek over only twelve days, severely disrupting the ecosystem. In 1971 they opened the first recycling center in the county. And in 1972, they became an official 501(c)(3) nonprofit. Today, they’re dedicated to protecting and preserving SLO county’s natural resources by organizing beach cleanups and planting trees. They also certify sustainable Green Businesses to make it easier for customers to support businesses with a positive environmental impact.
Your support helps ECOSLO continue doing their important work right here in SLO county. Don’t miss out on an incredible evening!
