Great sounds alongside delicious cuisine and a cornucopia of goods from local makers — that’s the Stone Soup recipe, a tasty way to wrap-up the summer. Block your calendar for the weekend of August 26th and 27th one month away!
Every year the festival committee puts together a new lineup of music – no two years are the same! And this year the lineup is so fun and spectacular with literally something for everyone – from local dance groups, Na Hoa Aloha Hawaiian Music, singer-songwriter Dulcie Taylor, Blues Great Coco Montoya, Carbon City Lights, Ras Danny and the Reggae All-Stars, the wildly popular local Bluegrass/Americana group The Mother Corn Shuckers and of course for the pet fanatics the return of the Mardi Paws Dog Parade and Pet Costume Contest!
Dance the night away to this year’s headliner “Strangelove: The Depeche Mode Experience” for all of those 80s babies and 80s fans!
And this year the number of food vendors has doubled, plus more makers fair vendors and booths as well.
Presented by the Clark Center for the Performing Arts this outdoor music festival has become a fixture on the calendar for fans, visitors and followers. The Festival is free, with plenty of seating, tables and lawn space. Beer and wine is offered for purchase as well as a large children’s play area complete with multiple bounce houses and activities, plus acres of grassy park space for chairs, blankets, picnics and fun!
There are still sponsorship opportunities, as well as room for a few more vendors – just head to this link for more information and applications, or to read more about the lineup and see videos and websites for all of the performers!
