Shabang Music Festival is back May 2nd and 3rd, 2026 for their eleventh year! Started in 2014 as a concert in the mountains of SLO, Shabang has grown to a multi-day festival with four stages and a wide variety of music.
Headliners this year include Chris Lake, The Backseat Lovers, Polo & Pan, and Magdalena Bay. The organizers describe the mix of artists as “Coastal Grandma Sunshine,” ranging from Indie Rock to Tech House. Tickets are available for both the whole weekend and one day only, so make sure to check out the daily lineup to ensure you’re able to see your favorite artists!
While you’re out enjoying the music, check out the food vendors and local booths offering concert merch, handmade goods, jewelry, and more! You can also find yoga and dance classes throughout the weekend to get moving and really be involved in the music. There will also be interactive art installations to further set the vibe.
Shabang is an all-ages event located on the Dairy Creek Golf Course, providing stunning views of the hills just outside San Luis Obispo. There are shuttles available from multiple pick up locations, and music will be playing from 2pm until the last shuttle leaves at 11:30 pm.
