Join the SLO Botanical Garden on October 3rd for a celebration of cake!
Join in the fun started by San Francisco’s iconic annual Cake Picnic right here on the Central Coast. There will be live music, drinks, activities, and, of course, lots of cake! Each ticketholder must bring a cake, either homemade or purchased from a local bakery, to add to the picnic. Once everyone has a chance to scope out the selection, they’ll take turns filling a box with whatever cakes they want. It’s a great way to try new things and maybe find a new favorite!
The most popular cake of the day will take home the Fan Favorite Award and major bragging rights. More than a competition, the Cake-A-Palooza is mainly a chance to share your delicious creations with others and enjoy as much cake as you can eat.
