Local Area Spotlight: Wildwood Ranch

Wildwood Ranch Entry

Live Pismo Beach is dedicated to helping you understand what living in Pismo Beach and the surrounding communities has to offer. This is why we have decided to create the “Local Area Spotlight”, a series that will guide you through the diverse neighborhoods in our area and the details which will help you decide to make it your home.

The first community we will be featuring is conveniently located just blocks from the historic downtown corridor known by locals as “The Village“. Take a quick stroll into town and enjoy a delicious meal at Comfort Market. After your meal head next door and partake in the indulgences that Doc Burstein’s Ice Cream Parlor has to offer. Don’t forget to check out the Mason Bar. Their menu features only locally sourced ingredients that will leave you satisfied, yet wishing for another of their unique menu items. These are only a handful of culinary options the village has to offer and they are all just steps away from Wildwood Ranch.

To ensure the community is well maintained there is a home owners association in place. This association is responsible for the maintenance of all common areas and most exterior portions of buildings, including roof maintenance and paint.

Living in Wildwood Ranch also includes exclusive access to the community’s tennis court, walking trails and clubhouse as well as the security of a gated entry.

Homes range from single level to two stories split-level and are a mixture of attached and detached buildings. Some homeowners choose to use their homes for weekend getaways or summer homes while others are full time residents. While hosting an open house at a listing our real estate team has in Wildwood Ranch it became very clear that it is a very tight knit community. One resident even noted that they felt safe leaving their home unattended for several months, as they knew “the neighbors would keep an eye on it.”

For the family concerned with the quality of their child’s education, Wildwood Ranch lies in the Lucia Mar Unified School District. The primary elementary school servicing this neighborhood is Ocean View School which is rated a 9 out of 10 according to Zillow and is tied as the highest rated elementary school in the district. The Lucia Mar middle school and high schools are also ranked very well among public schools in our state. Private school options include Coastal Christian School and St. Patrick’s Catholic School.

If you are looking for a beautiful home in a neighborhood that offers security and convenience then, Wildwood Ranch is where you will find your next home.
