4th of July in Cayucos
Cayucos is known for their lively 4th of July celebrations, an all-day affair! Starting with the sand sculpture competition, the perfect activity for early risers as work begins at 4 am and is finished by 10. Then, the town parade begins, taking over Ocean Avenue for the ultimate festive display. In the meantime, take a walk around the Front Street Faire, open from 10 am until 6 pm. Finally, enjoy fireworks on the pier at dusk as the perfect ending to a busy day.

4th of July Celebration at Barney Schwartz Park
The city of Paso Robles is hosting a 4th of July celebration all day at Barney Schwartz Park! Featuring family-friendly activities, food trucks, music by KJUG, and live bands, the day ends with a dazzling fireworks display.

Avila Beach Pancake Breakfast & Doggie Parade
Start your 4th of July off right with a pancake breakfast! Starting at 8:30 am, your ticket includes pancakes, sausage, bacon, fruit, coffee, and orange juice. Once you’ve enjoyed your breakfast, head over to the Avila Promenade for the Doggie Parade! The festively-dressed pets and their owners compete for prizes, such as best holiday look and best dog/owner lookalike.

Atascadero 4th of July Music Festival
Visit Atascadero Lake Park for a music festival! Beginning at 3 pm, enjoy four wonderful musical acts as well as a selection of food and drinks. Bring a camping chair or a blanket and enjoy the music and the beautiful Atascadero Lake. This festival is a fundraiser for the Atascadero Printery, built in 1915 and damaged in the 2003 earthquake. Plans for restoration include an interactive Print museum as well as a 300-seat theater, providing a vibrant community space.
